At Mancotta Junior College, we believe that an effective education doesn’t just come from memorizing or lecturing. Active participation in the learning process entails analyzing, discussing and collaborating - in order to comprehend and retain. All of our courses are designed to encourage deep mental processing and student engagement with the class material.
CURRICULUM
The college follows the syllabus designed and approved by National Council of Education Research and Training(NCERT) and also Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
INTERNAL EVALUATION
Unit tests are held regularly to keep a check on the students' progress and take necessary measures if required. The college holds Terminal and Test Examination.
EXAM CENTRE
The college holds the permit to conduct H.S. First Year Final Examination in the College premises which is granted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and the examination centre for H.S. Second Year Final Examination is Dibru College, Dibrugarh
ATTENDANCE
The attendance of the students in daily classes, tutorial unit test is compulsory. A student must have 75% attendance to be eligible as a regular candidate. No student shall be allowed to appear in the examination below 60% of attendance in the class
FEE STRUCTURE
Monthly tuition fee will be charged Rs. 1000 (For Arts and Commerce) and Rs. 1200 (For Science) per month and students have to pay within the first week of every month of the year

The College offers two Special Scholarships to economically weak meritorious students.

Lt. Dharmeshwar Bora Memorial Scholarship : The student (Arts) who secures highest marks with minimum of 80% on average in the H.S. 1st Year Annual Examination, bags waiver of H.S. 2nd Year admission fees.
Lt. Dr. Akhiladitya Saikia Memorial Scholarship : The student (Science) who secures highest marks with minimum of 80% on average in the H.S. 1st Year Annual Examination, bags waiver of H.S. 2nd Year admission fees.
